When to Replace Your Grill?

Lack of versatility – Again, the intense heat limits your options. Infrared burners are generally better suited for searing tough meats such as beef. This is why many grills offer infrared as a “sear zone” with one or two infrared burners, rather than having infrared burners as the only option.
Adjustment Period – Using infrared is different from other cooking methods. For some people, the first couple of times you turn it on, everything may seem unfamiliar and a little difficult to operate. However, once you get past this adjustment period, infrared cooking has its place.
