What is a drinking water faucet?
Drinking water faucets are small drinking water faucets that are installed at the end of the sink and connect to the same plumbing line as the kitchen faucet. Drinking water faucets have many different names, but these drinking water faucets have one purpose: to provide drinking water from a dedicated faucet that is just perfect for pouring drinking water into a glass or cup, without getting dirty or overflowing.
They can also be combined with water purifiers and filters. A very popular version of a drinking water dispenser is the hot and cold water tap, which can be connected to a heated water tank and provide hot or warm water ready to make your favorite tea.
What are the benefits of drinking water dispensers?
Stand-alone water fountains that deliver bottles on a regular weekly basis seem like an effective solution for drinking water, but they have the disadvantage of being expensive. The bottles are heavy, difficult to install, and can take up extra space for storage. When the bottles run out, only tap water from the sink is available. Bottled water dispensers add extra cost and labor.
With water purifiers and instant water faucets, there is no need to struggle with bottles for storage. Some drinking water faucets can be used hands-free. Built-in drinking water faucets, whether they are filtered water faucets or instant hot water dispensers, offer a range of useful functions and are a relatively simple and wise investment for your kitchen.

Installing the hot water dispenser
Always follow the installation instructions provided with the unit. On most models.
1 Insert the dispenser spout into the sink hole and tighten it in place from below with a large nut. Always note the instructions to ensure proper placement of gaskets, washers and seals.
2 Connect the tank to the water supply pipe. Connect the water supply by installing a saddle valve on the cold water pipe under the sink, and connect this valve to the unit using a compression fitting with 1/4″ copper pipe.
3 Connect the spout to the tank. The spout is often equipped with a plastic tube to bring water from the tank. Simply plug it into the connector at the top of the tank body.
4 Most units have a three-prong plug, which simply plugs into a 15-ampere grounded outlet.
How often do hot water dispensers need to be descaled?
This depends entirely on how often you use your hot water system. If you use it regularly and your area has hard water, you will probably need to descale more frequently. To find out how hard the water is, you can contact the water company in your area. However, this can be time consuming and in most cases you will not get an answer. If you research the market, you will find specific hard water testing kits that you can purchase and test the water supply in your area. If you live in an area with hard water, you should descale your water heater at least once a month if you use it regularly.
Descaling a hot water heater is not a difficult task and can be done at home in a matter of minutes. There are several ways to descale an instant hot water dispenser. We present some very simple methods.
